Youth Ministry led By Pastor Mike
Hi All, this is a really late journal entry. My daughter who was 17 then is now 24 but I’d like to share this because the memories are still fresh. Each year in August we host a youth camping weekend, this particular group was under the guidance of Pastor Mike, a former youth Pastor at Evangel Pentecostal church.
On a Sunday morning the group went from our chalet to a provincial trail, called Park of the Chute-à-Bull. This park has many trails, one of which led to the Belvedere (the top of the mountain) where Pastor Mike Shared God’s word to the youth group.
The Belvedere overlooked the beautiful landscape, let me tell you the view is overwhelming, simply breath-taking. After our mini service we had a light snack, you know, a fruit, water and health bars. After that we moved to another trail which led to some waterfalls, equally breath taking. Total walking distance for that morning was probably about 7 km. What a blessed morning and amazing weekend.
